Goodbye Dark Underarms!

I remember an old friend telling me, she would never wear sleeveless tank tops because of her dark underarms. It is a big concern to us women having dark underarms because it affects our self esteem and confidence.

Causes of dark underarms:
  • Shaving
  • Friction
  • Strong chemicals (ex. deodorants and hair removal creams)
  • Improper hygiene
Remedies For Dark Underarms:

1. Lemon.  Lemon is a natural bleach, it helps lighten the skin.
Rub a piece of lemon on your dark underarms everyday and see the change after 2 weeks.

2. Hygiene.  Wash your underarms regularly to remove dirt and dead cells.

3. Deodorant. Apply mild deodorants on your underarms. Try Dove ultimate ( go sleeveless, Pearl Finish ) deodorant, it really works, it gives you smooth underarms in a week. If you have limited budget you can use baking soda or alum on your underarms.

4.Waxing. Shaving can lead to dark underarms. Instead of shaving, waxing is highly recommended because it pulls hair from the tip as to shaving it makes your underarm hair thicker.

5. Clothes. Tight clothes can cause dark underarms because of friction. Use loose clothes.

6. Exfoliate. Exfoliate your underarms using St. Ives Apricot Scrub twice a week, it helps remove dead skin cells and impurities.

Bring out those fashionable sleeveless tank tops.Reveal your smoother and whiter underarms. Goodbye dark underarms!
